Laura Jefferies - Creative Director

Miss Laura first began assistant teaching Jazz and Hip Hop at 13 years old. By 16 she was teaching her own classes 20 hours a week!

With the greatest love and passion for dance and fitness, she has created a place were students and teachers can be inspired, have fun, grow personally and technically, have chances to perform and provide endless opportunities under one roof. It really is a dream come true! Within Jete we have a culture that is rich in family values and a safe and relaxing environment. She promises you by attending any Jete class you will be enriched physically and mentally while building confidence and bringing out your most creativeness. Magic is truly made on on the dance floor.. SEE YOU THERE.

Callie Hitchcock - Teaching Superstar

Miss Callie began her love for dance like most little girls, by dancing around her home every moment she could. Her mum got her into Ballet lessons from the age of 2. Over the years she also has done Jazz  and Hip Hop and then discovering her passion for contemporary and started her professional development by completing a year of full time dance with Hagley Dance company after leaving High School

Callie has been part of the Jete Family since 2016.

Charlotte Colyer - Teaching Superstar

Miss Charlotte began teaching for Jete in 2019 after moving here,  from Auckland, for university. 

Charlotte love's having the opportunity to help dancers develop their skills and seeing them master things they have struggled with. Charlotte has  studied NZAMD Jazz and Contemporary and achieved top marks in all her exams.

Caleb Gopal - Teaching Superstar

Caleb is an urban dancer who's traveled to the States representing New Zealand in the Hip Hop International World Championships - where he and his crew placed 10th in the world.  Caleb is trained in various styles of Hip hop. Caleb likes teaching dance as he can pass on his passion, love, and knowledge of dance to others and hopefully inspire them in what they do both in and out of the studio.
We welcomed Caleb to the Jete Family in 2019.

Alyssa Tabley - Teaching Superstar

Miss Alyssa is a multi-genre dancer who currently trains with us 11+ hours a week.
She has danced with Jete since we opened in Christchurch, January 2016 and began Assistant teaching in 2018
In 2019 Alyssa began teaching classes on her own and has provided cover for other teachers as needed. 

Alyssa has been the top of her classes every year for her exam work and places regularly at competitions across the south island - Alyssa has also won the Flint Cup which is a highly contested championship dating back to 1940 and received PACANZ Nomination.
